This gorilla tracking trip will take you 4 days. It includes 2 days of trekking 2 different groups of habituated gorillas

Uganda Gorilla Trekking Itinerary:

Day 01: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

You will be picked up early morning by our driver guide to embark on your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for your gorilla tracking trip. This drive takes not less than 10 hours and takes you through the scenic Ankole villages.

En-route on Uganda Gorilla Trekking drive,  there will be a stop at the Equator and Mbarara for lunch. Continue on the Bwindi arriving in the evening. Overnight Engagi Lodge

Day 02: 1st Uganda Gorilla Trekking Day

After breakfast, your driver guide will take you to the park headquarters for a briefing and registration before you set off for your first Uganda gorilla trekking experience. The Uganda Gorilla trek can be strenuous therefore you need to be physically fit for it and it can take from 1 - 8 hours.

It is advisable to carry a picnic lunch and lots of drinking water with you. Once the gorillas are located you allowed to spend 1 hour with them before you return to your lodge.

Day 03: 2nd Gorilla trekking - different group

A second opportunity for a Uganda Gorilla trekking with a different group of gorillas. Activities just the same as yesterdays.

If your gorilla trek ends early and you are still physically fit, why not go for a community walk visiting the local village.

Day 04: Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe Airport to connect with your international flight out. The drive is a long one of not less than 10 hours

Meals included: Breakfast and lunch.

*Please note that your flight should be late in the evening

Notes: Minimum age to trek the gorillas is 15 and chimpanzee trek 12. Gorilla permits must be paid in full to confirm the safari and are also non-refundable.
