Safari Itinerary of Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi

Day 1: Pick up & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival at the Airport or after your morning breakfast at your hotel, meet your your private Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi safari diver/ guide who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will make a stopover at the equator for Photography and Mbarara town for Lunch break. You will then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, arriving early evening. On your arrival, relax at the lodge while preparing for your gorilla habituation tour the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi forest national park

Early in the morning after your breakfast with packed lunch, you will report to the park office in Rushaga for a pre-gorilla habituation briefing. You will then enter the forest for your gorilla habituation experience escorted by an interpretive ranger guide.

Spend four hours habituating mountain gorillas with a team of trackers and researchers to make them get used to human presence. Hiking may take 5-9 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in their natural habitat, then on return from this experience, you will return back to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe airport

After your relaxed breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, be transferred back to Kampala/ Entebbe or Kigali with lunch break along the way. You will arrive early evening. The Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi tour driver/ guide will then drop you to your Hotel or at the Airport if it will be your scheduled departure flight time as you end your tour.
