Akagera Game Park Safari 3 days Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Kigali to Akagera National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast from your hotel in Kigali and then meet our driver/guide who will transfer you to Akagera National Park. You will an en route stopover for lunch and to visit to some cultural sites. You will arrive in the park in time for an evening game drive where you will spot a number of animal species including; elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, leopards, warthogs, water and bush bucks among others. Dinner and overnight at either Akagera Game Lodge or Ruzizi Safari Camp. Meal Plan: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 2: Game Drive in Akagera National Park – Afternoon Boat Ride
Have an early morning breakfast and go on a game drive in Akagera National Park to spot the African wildlife species like lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, leopards, bush and water bucks among others. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon take boat cruise along the Ihema Lake as you spot more wildlife and birds along the shores of the Lake. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at either Akagera Game Lodge or Ruzizi Safari Camp. Meal Plan: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kigali City After your breakfast, you will go on a morning game drive as you drive out of Akagera National Park back to Kigali City. You will visit some local markets, have lunch en-route and then transfer to the airport for your return flight back home.
