Trip Booking Terms

1. BOOKINGS

Bookings shall be confirmed in writing (E-mail or fax or by post)

Bookings shall be considered confirmed only when the booking is accompanied by a deposit valued at 30% of the tour price, whose receipt has been acknowledged by our bank.  The remaining 70% must be paid 40 days before the trip begins.  In case of gorillla and chimpanzee permits, a full advance payment is required to secure the permits.

2.CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND

Any cancellation of a trip must be in writing, either by e-mail, fax or via post, and shall only be effective upon its receipt and acknowledgement.

The following cancellation fees will apply for cancellations:

    More than 45 day prior to trip commencement 30% of trip price
    40 - 30 days prior to trip commencement 50% of trip price
    No show to 30 days prior to trip commencement (or no show) 100% of total trip price No refunds are given for the following:

    Lost travel time of substitution of facilities
    Itineraries amended sfter arrival
    Presence of circumstances beyond company's control which requires alternative arrangements to ensure safety or further participation and enjoyment of your trip.
    Lack of appearence for any accommodation, services, activity or trip segment without without prior notice (see above)
    Premature contract termination
    Gorilla and chimpanzee permit fees

3. AMENDMENTS

Any amendment by the client of a once confirmed itinerary (change of dates, hotel) will be charged by a reasonable amount, but at least 10% of the trip price.

4. PAYMENTS

Payments are by foreign convertible currencies.  We do not encourage payment by credit cards at present since we have had with some frauds in the past.  We do not consider it safe at present and therefore prefer payment by bank transfer.

5. ACCESS

We can not be held responsible for for road and airstrip conditions, which may make travel impossible at times.

We reserve the right to alter any route or arrangement, to cancel or vary safari services in any way in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as road closures, bad weather, problems with national parks or hotels and security considerations.  In such cases alternative arrangements will be made as circumstances permit.

6. RISK

The company and its owners, directors, management staff and employees shall not be held responsible for any injury or death to persons on the trip, nor for loss or damage to personal property, however they may be caused.

The company draws your attention to the fact that there are certain inherent risks present when on safari, or when engaging in any strenous physical activity.  It is your sole resonsibility to obtain the appropriate medical advice on medication, immunization, and whether on not your are fit enough to undertake the trip, prior to departure.  The company shall not be liable for illness, injury or death sustained whilst visiting the properties owned and managed by the company.

7. FORCE MAJUERE

"Force Majuere" means in relation to the company, any circumstances beyond the control of the company (including without limitation, acts of God, explosions, floods, tempests, fires, accidents, war or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions or other outward occurences).

If the Company is affected by force majuere it shall forthwith notify you of the nature and extent thereof .  The company shall not be deemed in breach of these items and conditions or otherwise be liable to you, by reason of delay in perfomance, or by non-perfomance, of any of it's obligations hereunder to the extent that any such delay or non-perfomance is due to any force majuere.

If thec ompany is affected by force majuere it shall be entitled to, and may as its sole and absolute discretion, vary or cancel any reservations or arragements in relation to the trips.  Payment of any refund by the company to you as a result of the non-perfomance of the company shall use its reasonable endeavors to reimburse you where possible.  However the company shall be entitled to deduct from any refund recoverable to the reasonable actual potential costs to the company of force majuere.

8. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions governing the relationship between the company and you, to the total exclusion of any other terms and conditions.  No alteration to the terms and conditions may be made by any of the company's employees, authorized representative or agents, unless in writing by an authorized officer of the company.  All decisions and matters subject to the company's  discretion shall be by authorised officer of the company.  The company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors for all or part of the services.

9. COMPLAINTS

We shall try to ensure that our company exceeds the expectations in every area of the trip arrangements.  However suggestions are very much welcome, to keep improving the services rendered.

If you have any cause of complaints while traveling, you must immediately bringit to the attention of the company's representative or agent who will attempt to resolve the situation.  If the problem is not solved to the client's satisfaction, the complaint then should be reported in written form and not later than 30 days after the completion of the trip.

Liability for any complaints not notified in accordance with the above described procedure will not accepted.

10. CONSENT

The payment of deposit or any other partial payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions of the Terms and Conditions.  The terms under which you agree to make the reservation can not be changed or amended unless this is done in writing and signed by an authorized staff of the company.
